Double garage, outbuildings, heated swimming pool, tennis court, entertainment terrace/platform on Seagrove Bay. Mooring rights. Gardens and woodland of about 4 acres (1.62ha).
The property was originally constructed in around 1976 as a Norlog house – the same timber construction as the High Wycombe Shooting School. The current owners have extended the accommodation in a similar style and in recent years clad the building in impregnated timber imported from the USA. The property provides characterful accommodation with views over the grounds and sea glimpses from principal rooms that become more open during the winter months. The property provides a comprehensive package including a range of outbuildings and an extensive garden with tennis court and heated swimming pool.
A path within the grounds leads through sloping woodland down to Seagrove Bay where there is a large private platform/entertaining terrace with potential for a beach house. The frontage onto the bay provides both direct access to the picturesque beach and the ability to store dinghies in addition to mooring rights.
Seagrove Bay is has a sheltered sandy beach from which swimming and sailing can be enjoyed as does the adjacent Priory Bay a short walk from Long Logs. Seaview is a popular sailing village with a range of facilities including hotels, restaurants, shops and a Yacht Club and can be accessed by a walk along the seafront. Bembridge with its sailing club is nearby, whilst the Isle of Wight is famous for its yachting and sailing in the renowned waters of the Solent. In addition, there is a wide range of sporting activities available, including numerous golf courses, and excellent walking and riding throughout extensive unspoilt countryside, much of which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fast and frequent ferry services are available for passengers from Ryde (about 3 miles) to Portsmouth with car ferry services from Fishbourne (about 5Â 1/2 miles).
